What is the best Tanzania safari package for a first visit?
A 5 to 7 day safari that joins Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater covers the main wildlife areas of northern Tanzania and suits most first-time visitors. Longer trips add more time in the Serengeti, and shorter trips fit a tight schedule.
How much does a Tanzania safari cost?
The price depends on the number of days, the level of lodges or camps, the season and the size of your group. Every package on this site shows its price per person, and joining (shared) safaris cost less than private ones. Send an inquiry for an exact quote for your dates.
When is the best time to go on safari in Tanzania?
The dry months from June to October give the easiest wildlife viewing in most parks. The Great Migration herds are in the southern Serengeti and Ndutu for the calving season from about January to March, and in the northern Serengeti around the Mara River from about July to October. The green season is quieter and good for birds.
Do you offer private safaris and joining group safaris?
Yes. You can book a private Tanzania safari with your own vehicle and guide, or a joining (shared) group safari that departs on set dates and costs less per person.
Can I climb Kilimanjaro or visit Zanzibar as well as go on safari?
Yes. We run Kilimanjaro climbs on the main routes, and safari and beach packages that finish in Zanzibar. Tell us your dates and we will combine them.
