Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Arusha you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short Arusha town tour to get a feel for the local culture. You’ll visit the colorful Maasai markets, and perhaps stop at the Cultural Heritage Centre or a nearby coffee plantation. In the evening, you’ll relax at your hotel, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's most famous safari destinations. En-route, you will have the opportunity to engage in some game viewing as you drive through the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands. Keep your eyes open for wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes as you approach the Serengeti. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or tented camp, where you’ll have time to relax before your first thrilling game drive in the Serengeti. The Serengeti’s open plains are home to a variety of animals, including lions, cheetahs, and elephants.

Spend the entire day exploring the vast, stunning Serengeti on a full-day game drive. The Serengeti is famous for its incredible diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Your expert guide will take you to various parts of the park to maximize your chances of witnessing a wide array of animals, from predator-prey interactions to grazing herds. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild, giving you more time to explore. The Serengeti’s iconic landscapes and large populations of wildlife will make this an unforgettable day.

On the fourth day, enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti to catch the animals at their most active, particularly predators. Afterward, you’ll travel to the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic landscapes. On the way to your accommodation, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the scenic views of the Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding area. The afternoon is yours to relax at your lodge, soak in the views, and enjoy a quiet evening.

On your final day, you’ll embark on a spectacular game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world’s most unique ecosystems. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five, and is considered one of the best places for wildlife viewing in Africa. After your morning game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before heading back up to the rim and making your way to Arusha. If you're returning to Zanzibar, you’ll catch a flight from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport in the evening. Alternatively, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha.
