Arrive in Arusha, where your adventure begins. After a brief introduction, travel to Materuni Village, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in local Chagga culture with a traditional coffee-making tour, learning about the process from bean to cup. Following the coffee tour, enjoy a scenic hike to Materuni Waterfalls, where you can swim and relax in the serene surroundings. In the late afternoon, head back to Arusha for a restful evening and overnight.

On the second day, after an early breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Tarangire offers exceptional wildlife sightings, including giraffes, lions, zebras, and an impressive birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park, exploring its diverse habitats and open landscapes. In the late afternoon, head to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for your overnight accommodation, where you can unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After breakfast, begin the journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy game viewing as you drive through the beautiful Tanzanian landscape, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as wildebeests, zebras, and various antelope species. Upon reaching the Serengeti, check into your mid-range tented camp for an authentic safari experience. After a short rest, enjoy your first game drive in the Serengeti, experiencing its expansive plains and incredible wildlife.

This day is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see the incredible variety of wildlife that roams the Serengeti, from the Big Five to countless bird species. After a packed lunch in the park, enjoy a second game drive in the afternoon, continuing to explore the Serengeti’s endless plains. With its abundant wildlife and picturesque landscapes, the Serengeti offers one of the most exciting and rewarding safari experiences in Africa.

On the morning of Day 5, depart Serengeti early to drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. Once inside the crater, you’ll enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, which is teeming with wildlife, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and flamingos. After a picnic lunch within the crater, you’ll ascend back to the rim and begin your journey back to Arusha. In the evening, you’ll arrive in Arusha, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing night at a local hotel.

On the final day, after breakfast, head to the Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Kilimanjaro region. The sanctuary offers a unique opportunity for up-close encounters with wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and other native species in a safe and ethical environment. After the visit, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, or alternatively, you can opt for a drop-off at your hotel in Arusha, depending on your onward travel plans.
