Explore Diverse Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park, a hidden gem in northern Tanzania, offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes within a relatively small area. From the towering peak of Mount Meru to the tranquil Momella Lakes and the lush montane forests, this park is a microcosm of Tanzania’s natural beauty. Located just a short drive from Arusha town, it is the perfect destination for a day trip or a multi-day adventure. The park is dominated by Mount Meru (4,566m), Tanzania’s second-highest mountain, which provides a stunning backdrop for game drives and walking safaris. The Momella Lakes, a series of seven alkaline lakes, are a haven for birdlife, including seasonal flamingos. The Ngurdoto Crater, often called “Little Ngorongoro,” offers a unique caldera experience. With its diverse habitats, Arusha National Park is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers.
