Day by day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Arusha City Tour
Upon arrival at the airport, our Golden Memories Safaris team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation at Njiro Legacy, depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed Arusha city sightseeing tour. Visit local markets, the Maasai Market, Cultural Heritage Centre, and Arusha City Museum to experience the city’s culture, history, arts, and everyday life.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha around 7:15 AM and drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately eight hours, including scenic stops, and passes through the spectacular landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Stay: Tukaone Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 3: Serengeti Game Drive & Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Rise early and enjoy breakfast before heading out for an early morning Serengeti game drive, one of the best times to observe wildlife when many animals are active, explore the Serengeti plains until around midday, then return to camp for lunch and packing. After lunch, continue your safari with a game drive as you exit Serengeti, taking in more wildlife and spectacular scenery along the way. Proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and your accommodation near the crater.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:15 AM for an unforgettable crater game drive, the Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife. Search for the endangered black rhino while exploring the crater floor, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha.

Day 5: Airport Transfer
