Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Golden Memories Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or enjoy an optional Arusha city tour to experience the local culture, markets, and atmosphere. In the evening, meet your safari guide for a briefing about your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a beautiful wildlife destination known for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and scenic landscapes. Enjoy a game drive through the park, following wildlife along the Tarangire River, an important water source that attracts animals, particularly during the dry season. Keep your camera ready for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and, with some luck, lions and leopards, stop for a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area with opportunities to enjoy spectacular highland scenery. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin your wildlife adventure across its endless plains. The Serengeti is famous for its remarkable wildlife populations, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest. Depending on the season, you may also encounter parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Wildlife movements vary throughout the year, so your guide will help you explore the most promising areas.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park Safari
After breakfast, head out for morning game viewing when many animals are active. Explore different habitats, from open grasslands to river areas and rocky kopjes, which often provide excellent opportunities for spotting wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your guide will adapt the route according to wildlife sightings, seasonal conditions, and your interests. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay beneath the African skies.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, giving you another opportunity to spot wildlife and capture memorable photographs. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying game viewing along the way and the changing scenery as you approach the crater highlands. Depending on the selected accommodation and schedule, you may have time to enjoy the beautiful views around the Ngorongoro highlands before settling in for the evening. Dinner will be served at your lodge, where you can relax and prepare for the following day’s crater adventure.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience. The crater floor supports a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, lions, and hyenas. With luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a game drive through the crater’s varied habitats, with a picnic lunch during the day. Your guide will help you explore the most promising areas while respecting park regulations and wildlife. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes with a drop off at your hotel or, subject to your flight schedule, the airport.
